Hardcore shmupper returns for an updated list :-) It's been a few years since I created my "Top 11 Shmups On Nintendo Switch" and in that time A TON of new and amazing Shoot Em' Ups have been released on Nintendo's Console/Handheld.So this time around I have updated best shmups on the Switch for the year 2022 and 2021 and also give you two different lists! The first list is based off a poll of subscribers to the Electric Underground and their top 10 choices and the second list is my own editorial choice. As awesome as playing shmups on PC/Steam and PS4 is, there is no denying that the Switch has also become its own powerhouse of the genre.
