It would be safe to assume that sexuality evolves together with society, that desires keep growing, and that progress goes hand in hand with sexual freedom. Instead, we are witnessing a decline that may be attributed to digital amplification. The overexposure to porn has led younger generations down a path of unrealistic expectations and overindulgence. World-renowned psychoanalyst and essayist, among the leading exponents and popularisers of Jung's theory, Luigi Zoja investigates society through the lens of archetypes because, as he says, "we are frightened by the increasing speed with which technology, culture, and economics are changing the world around us."
