Over the past few years a company known as SoftGiving, now known as BrandFluence has been behind some of the largest charity streams on Twitch and YouTube. Streamers like Asmongold, Hasanabi, Ludwig, OTK and others have all done charity streams with this company and recently an investigative journalist Jacob Wolf released an article claiming over 40% of some of these donations went to expenses and not helping the charities. The main issue is this was not accurately disclosed to those donating and now many people who did donate fell ripped off.

The CEO of Softgiving declined to be interviewed for a video.
