Dishwasher not draining Water.
If your Dishwasher is full of water I will show you the steps to try and fix a Dishwasher that won't drain water. If your Dishwasher has standing water in it then there must be a blockage, I'll help you try to fix the Dishwasher drainage problem.
I will show you how to check the Dishwasher filter, Dishwasher impeller and Drainage hose pipework.
This is on a Bosch Dishwasher (Siemens Dishwasher) but the same steps can be used on other Dishwashers.
Hope you get it sorted. If you still have problems and the Bosch Dishwasher is not draining water properly (standing water in Dishwasher) then it's time to call a Dishwasher Engineer as the Dishwasher pump may have failed.

0:20 Cup of Tea first and unplug Dishwasher from the Mains electricity.
0:27 Borrow your Partners toothbrush, we'll need it for cleaning!
0:37 Standing water in the bottom.
0:53 Remove standing water with a sponge.
1:14 Remove Dishwasher filter.
1:36 Remove excess water near impeller with a sponge.
1:54 Check impeller \ propeller on the pump for blockages and debris.
4:00 Put impeller clip cover back.
5:04 Clean the Dishwasher filter (Yuk).
6:22 Put filter back into Dishwasher.
6:42 Switch back on the Dishwasher.
6:48 Run a Dishwasher Cleaning Cycle to keep it hygienically fresh.
8:12 Check drainage hose & U Bend pipework for blockages.
9:39 Remove and clean lower and upper spray arms.
10:55 Reinstall upper spray arm.
