How can setting an intention help you in achieving what you want in life?

Setting an intention is about getting clear on what you want to achieve. This helps focus our brain because unless we focus we can so easily get distracted.

How often have you in passing thought about something you want to do and then realise a month later you have not actually made any progress towards achieving it?

This happens because we need to create space and focus our attention on what we want so it does not get drowned out in the 'noise' of life.

Setting an intention is about getting clear on what you want to achieve AND why it is important to you.

I love the saying 'Where the attention goes, the energy flows!'

So if we focus on something then we are more likely to take decisions which align to it and invest more time an energy in making it happen.

You can set an intention for anything and there is so much potential in using this trick in everyday life. You can set an intention for a conversation or a meeting or your weekend.
