I've always heard great things about Grace Hopper Celebration as one of the biggest and oldest conferences for women in tech! I've unfortunately haven't been able to go as a student for financial reasons, but when I was able to go as a Googler, I took that opportunity! It was inspiring to see so many women and non-binary people in tech from all around the world, and the experience is also very different as an industry professional because we're more focused on learning, networking, and social aspects while students focused on job hunting. The elephant in the room is the many men that were present this year. While the vlog doesn't exactly cover that as that didn't affect my experience that much as an industry professional, the behavior I've heard (and even seen) should not be tolerated. We hope for men to become better allies to women!
