Community-led League racing is always bubbling away, sometimes too quietly for it's own good, but the fact is that it is clearly the most realistic and truthful way to experience iRacing as a motorsport simulation. Of course, this doesn't just apply to iRacing, but as it is the sim that boasts a focus on competition and close racing it's reasonable for everyone on the platform to give League racing a try. If iRacing's official sessions are a Margherita Pizza, Leagues are Stuffed Crust Pepperoni. Oh shut up, it makes sense to me.
