Hello everyone and welcome to @AutoScholarwithMrB! Today we are tackling the somewhat involved job of replacing the window regulator in this 2010 Volkswagen Touareg. This video is for the front left but the other regulators work the same and are comparable.

VW has had window regulator issues for years, so if yours is broken, it is quite typical. This is not the first time this one was replaced. Tools needed are basic hand tools, Torx sockets, a drill and drill bit for removing rivets, and a rivet gun.

The part I used is off of Amazon and I will list it below along with the rivets I used. The rivets are also available at Lowes. If you can find steel rivets that work, I would recommend them instead of the aluminum rivets. I used the aluminum rivets because that is all I could find.
