Margaret Mead was not only one of the most famous anthropologists of her time, but she also remains to be one of the most well-known anthropologists today. Her contributions to the anthropology community as well as her insight on cultures around the world leave a legacy that shall not be forgotten by today's anthropologists. Margaret Mead is well known for her work in Samoa in which she wrote an ethnography called "Coming of Age in Samoa." This, in addition to her 22 other works, is just the beginning of what she accomplished. Throughout this video, I will be giving you guys a basic introduction into Margaret Meads childhood, education, cultural anthropology research, awards, and more.
