Marvel Cinematic Universe is a hub of interesting easter eggs. Fans have paused and rewatched each scene over and over again. While a tad obsessive, it’s also provided us baskets filled with easter egg references. Which we are very thankful for. In the video today, we are looking at some of the scrumptious easter eggs. But, not all of them. No, we will be looking at the easter eggs that have teased a future story, or character introduction. Yet they weren’t followed up on. Instead, they are left in a strange limbo of potential.

Some of these MCU easter eggs we’ll touch upon include the film rivalry between Marvel and the X-Men. Who at the time, were Fox’s property. Another segment we’ll look into is Odin’s treasure filled vault. This was originally a huge easter egg and had lots of potential until it was retconned later on. From there we can see an item that Thanos has a particular fondness for. The first film in the MCU, The Incredible Hulk, gave us a multitude of easter eggs. Yet with the Hulk no longer being played by Edward Norton, a lot of these easter eggs haven’t been touched on since. The Collector in the first Guardians Of The Galaxy helped us a lot in finding some of these references. His gathered prizes include a Russian Dog and an eighties Marvel film hero.
