No matter how much one thanks writer Gerry Conway and artists John V Romita and Ross Andru, it will never be enough to acknowledge these masters behind the creation of Punisher. The most notorious vigilante of Marvel Comics, it has been 47 long years since he made his first appearance in the 129th issue of The Amazing Spider-Man. One may not remember but back in 1974, the Punisher was essayed as an opponent to Spider-Man, before eventually going on to become one of Marvel’s most popular and successful characters.
