Hey Guy’s! Welcome back to my channel!
In today’s video I’m going to show you how to cook Old Fashioned Pinto Beans with Smoked Ham Hocks.
It’s really getting cold outside baby so let’s put on a pot of stick to your ribs Pinto Beans.
This is comfort foods at its best.

2 to 3 Pounds Pinto Beans, uncooked washed
3 Ham Hocks
1 Large Onion, rough chopped
2, 32 Ounce Cartons Chicken Broth plus more to add to pot as the beans cook
1 Teaspoon Granulated Onion
1 Teaspoon Granulated Garlic
2 Teaspoons Slap Ya Mama

Pick and wash your pinto beans.
Wash your ham hocks.
Rough chop your onion.
Put everything in the pot with two cartons of the chicken broth.
Let come to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium. The beans and the hocks should take roughly three hours to cook.
Check every 30 minutes to an hour to make sure that there is enough broth in your beans and give them a stir. Add broth as needed.
I always find that stirring the beans will help them to thicken.
Once done eat warm with a nice piece of cornbread. Enjoy😉
