There is a lot of talk about #migrants and refugees from war in the last period. We know what Ukrainian people are running from and we can empathise with them through the images of the war in Ukraine that we see every day on the news. We know almost nothing instead of those who escape from prisons in Libya after having crossed all of Africa with the only hope of surviving. I needed to understand what they were really escaping from, how they try to cross the Mediterranean Sea on rafts and who are the people who save their life.
In this new report I will tell you about my experience on the ship "Ocean Viking" of the Humanitarian Organization SOS Mediterranee.
