Though bringing family together may look different this year, one tradition is sure to remain - spirited debates. Given the imminent election and current climate, keeping the peace at holiday dinner isn’t always guaranteed.

That’s why I’m excited to sit with my friend, Dr. Phillip Atiba Goff, to chat about how we can navigate these difficult conversations. I’m no stranger to frank and insightful family dialogue. I want to share some of the things I’ve learned about navigating uncomfortable conversations with you. We’ll chat about how we can have peaceful and productive debates with loved ones whose views may differ from our own. And, of course, answer any questions you may have ahead of the holiday season.

Together, we hope to create room to bring activism to the dinner table and facilitate healthy debate among family.
