Autism can be super challenging at times and it is no small issue that autistic people have daily struggles to keep up with.

I know this as I am part of the autistic people community.

That being said, there are mistakes that we make and we need to get a hold of to crate better self advocacy for autistic people.

Don’t apologies for being autistic. We see autistic people saying sorry for asking people to repeat what they said or that they don’t look people in the eye. Stop it you are you and they need to accept that.

Autistic people push themselves into uncomfortable social situations and parties and events just because word pier pressure from society to fit in. Do not let people do this to you, autistic people have sensory issues and social anxiety, that’s a valid enough to avoid places you don’t want to go to

Don’t quiet your voice! Autistc people tend to not complain if they are upset or pushed out as they do not want to make a scene. This ends now, stick up for yourself have a voice and tell people how it is.
