Eric and Ryan visit a farm in rural Minnesota to install May Wes Poly Pickup Bands and Black Talon Rubber Baler Teeth on a Vermeer 605 Super M baler.

Prior to working on your baler, make sure your tractor and baler are parked on a level surface, parking brake is engaged and the cylinder lock is in place. Wear hand and eye protection for your safety and consult your operator's manual and provided instructions.

The first step is to remove the baler guard, then remove the worn metal baler bands and the OEM baler teeth. May Wes Poly Pickup Bands come with new hardware. For the pickup teeth, you will reuse the factory hardware.

Next, remove the OEM baler teeth, preserving the hardware.

These particular Black Talon Rubber baler teeth fit Vermeer 504M, 554XL, 604M, 604 Super M, 604N, 605M, 605N, 605 Super M, 6055M. They replace OEM Vermeer baler teeth 27997061, 27997062. NOTE: The outer two rows may require 83945 (OEM 27997051, 27797052). Please check your baler prior to ordering so you get the right parts.

Install the Black Talon Rubber Baler Teeth. Hand tighten the hardware and tighten with a wrench and socket. Rotate the baler shaft manually to proceed to the next row.

Lastly, replace the baler guard.
