As gas prices rocket to new highs, we decided to compare my Mustang Mach-E against a Toyota Prius to see which is cheaper to run in a real world test. The Mustang Mach-E is an electric car whereas the Toyota Prius is a hybrid car. The Toyota has a small electric motor, a battery and gas engine. Gas vs EV - which is cheaper in 2022?

We compared the cost to drive 300 miles of challenging terrain, but also the 5 year costs to run each vehicle. Which do you think is cheaper?
