The 2022 Ford Maverick is getting close to a reveal. It's based on the same platform at the Bronco Sport aka baby Bronco, and the Ford Escape. It will be built in Hermosillo Mexico and should be available wtih a 1.5L Ecoboost making around 180hp. Also expected is the 2.0L making around 250hp.

A strong possibility is that it will also comie in a PHEV, plug-in hybrid version or possibly a conventional hybrid as well. The debut is expected sometime in Q2, 2021. Watch to learn all the details of Ford's incoming small pickup truck.
