This wasn't a series I ever intended to do, this is a tube amp audio channel and I freely admit, I am no expert on SS designs or repair. I intentionally avoid adding mosfets and other sand into my builds.

A viewer sent me a link to this China clone, explained how great it sounds and how it would work perfect for reviewing tube pre-amps. I honestly didn't want to spend $350 + add another project kit to build to my list so I ordered one. Made sense to have a SS amp around for that, but Clearly that isn't the case with this clone, it's seriously junk.

I do feel like I have stepped into a snake pit on this one, but I've ordered the parts kit, with the "real" PASS ACA boards and official parts, to upgrade this version and see what that does. And no, I do not want to turn this channel into a solid state gear build and review one, probably was a bad idea to even go down this road given the hype and cult status this one has, but here we are.
