Our 99 XJ looked like it was on its way to becoming a parts vehicle at best, until we noticed that under the mold, grime and general disgust was a solid, rust free survivor with good paint and all it needed was a good cleaning and some relatively minor engine work. A few days of labor and $1600 total investment later, we've got a sharp looking, perfectly running late model classic that could net us a several thousand dollar profit in today's market.
