In 2013, Malala gave a speech at the United Nations that was heard around the world, declaring “one child, one book, and one pen can change the world.”
10 years later, on her 26th birthday, she took the stage again at the United Nations in Abuja, Nigeria to tell us what she’s learned since then. She shares her new vision for how we can achieve greater progress for girls’ education — and make sure the next generation of girls is able to learn and lead without fear.
