15 Most Amazing Animal Encounters In The World

Our love for animals knows no limits. Big and small, wild and tame, fluffy and...not so fluffy - we love them all. And sometimes our love for animals has taken us to places where we can interact with them more closely. But some of these encounters have turned out to be a bit wilder and more extreme than we thought they could be. In today's video, we'll be looking at the "10 of the Most Amazing Animal Encounters in the World." You’ll learn about the places where you can have your own animal encounter and we’ll also get to hear some stories about people who had a close encounter with some wild creatures and survived to tell the story. Are you ready? Let's begin.

Dolphins
https://blog.padi.com/2019/08/27/the-...

Swimming with dolphins is hands down one of the best experiences you can ever have in the water. Unless you know how to scuba dive! That’s a whole different world. Anyway, as we all know, dolphins are very smart and mostly very friendly. You can swim with dolphins in plenty of places around the world, but apparently, one of the best places in the world to swim with dolphins is Raja Ampat in Indonesia, a place that is also known as “the last paradise on Earth.” Spinner, spotted, Indo-Pacific bottlenose, common bottlenose, and Risso’s dolphins...you can find them all in this hidden gem of Southeast Asia. They say the best time to go is between October and April, and the most rewarding thing about this experience is that you’ll likely run into other animals such as manta rays, sharks, and even killer whales!

Squirrels
   • GoPro: Squirrel Fail

You might think there’s nothing extraordinary about finding a squirrel. After all, these animals are very common, especially if you live in an area full of trees. However, if you set up a camera, or if you set camp somewhere near a squirrel, you will get to see a lot of incredible and funny moments like the one in this video, where we see a squirrel trying hard to steal food that’s supposed to be for some birds. But this squirrel is way too heavy for the bird feeder, which makes the poor animal fall off in an epic way.

Spix’s Macaw
   • Spix's Macaws - coming home #spixsAre...

You might remember this bird as the protagonist of the animated film Rio. And this story is sort of a reverse encounter. I mean, this animal was supposed to be in the wild but got extinct a while ago. However, thanks to the efforts of some European programs, the Spix’s Macaw is slowly being introduced back to its homeland in the jungles of Brazil. Hopefully, the population of birds will just continue growing and one day in the near future we will be able to see the spix’s macaw flying freely over its Brazilian home.

Snow Leopard
   • GoPro Awards: Snow Leopard Meets MAX ...

How close would you get to a snow leopard? By looking at their ferocious face, I would probably choose to stay away from them. But the footage in this GoPro shows us how curious these animals can be when they come in contact with humans or well, with the devices that these humans use. You can see how the snow leopard walks through the bushes and makes it all the way to the camera to start playing with it by licking it and even chewing on it a bit. I’d hate to be that GoPro! But it’s great that we have these cameras. Otherwise, I don’t think we would be able to get footage like this unless we were eager to risk our lives.

Arctic Wolf
   • The funniest wild animal encounters c...   (around 2:28)

Being a wildlife filmmaker can be a lot of fun. You pretty much get paid just to explore nature and get awesome footage of animals in the wild. It sounds fun and exciting, but it requires a lot of work and discipline. And most importantly, you never know what you will run into. Like these filmmakers who brought a lot of equipment to the arctic and were immediately met by a kind and curious arctic wolf. It’s known that these wolves probably attack more humans than other types of wolves, but also, they can be the friendliest if you meet them on a nice day. And the wolf on this video definitely looks like he’s one of the friendly ones.

Bison
   • Scariest Wild Animal Encounters   (around 1:20)

Animals are not as mindful as humans. If you’re in their way, you better move, because they’ll most likely keep going. Like the stampede of bison in this video. They’re a bunch of cars in their way, but the bison don’t care.
