You can get better and better and better from vestibular neuritis! Here is a recap of my recovery timeline. It took time to get to 100%, but at 1 year and 2 months post vestibular neuritis, I feel FANTASTIC! There is hope and a full recovery is possible! Check out my previous two updates if you would like more details on the process of my recovery.

Month 1-3: Scary and sad times! Dizzy, disoriented, anxious, off balance, sad, sad, sad, headaches, brain fog, loud tinnitus, visual disturbances, nausea, neck pain. Started VRT 1.5 months in and began working towards healing.
Month 4: Turning point! I actually felt like I was getting better and saw MAJOR improvements. Started an SSRI for the depression and anxiety which helped me cope.
Month 5: Significant improvement and back to work I go!
Month 6-9: Feeling normal most of the day with minor lingering symptoms here and there. Figured this was "as good as it would get" and felt pleased with how well I was doing. Visual disturbances like blurred vision in the distance when moving seemed to show up still.
Month 10: visual symptoms felt slightly more prominent, like I took a step back to the 6 month mark, and felt a little woozy sometimes. discouraging but did not keep me from living a full and active life.
Month 11: symptoms subsiding dramatically again.
Month 12-month 14: WOW! I feel SOOOOO GREAT! I don't think I notice symptoms anymore!
