Preamble of the Constitution of India, In this Episode No. 03, we will discuss, understand and learn about the Preamble of the Constitution of India which is the essence and overall summary of the Constitution of India.

From the Preamble of the Constitution itself, we realize that how and what kind of Independent India Indians wanted to create. When the Constitution making process of India started, the Constitution makers envisioned an Independent India, where everyone would get Justice, everyone would have Freedom, all citizens, all people would be Equal and a strong Democratic Country would be created. Whenever we come to the question of the meaning or interpretation of any of the Provisions or Clauses of the Constitution, at that time we also look at what is said in the Preamble of the Constitution. So if we want to understand the Constitution of India, we must first understand its Preamble.

Thus we all Indians are bound by the oath taken by the members of the Constituent Assembly while offering the Constitution to the country. And therefore it is our duty to understand and respect the basic Principles of the Constitution. Only then and only then will India truly thrive and lead the way of progress.
