Mario kart is the best selling game on the switch, and has sold tens of millions on all its other platforms too, such as the wii.

It clearly generates Nintendo a lot of money, so why don’t they make a new one? The best we’ve got right now is Mario kart 8 deluxe, which is over five years old now, and even that was a port of Mario kart 8 on the wii u, making technically over 8 years old. Why haven’t they released Mario kart nine?
