Now a jazz standard, the tune "I'll Never Smile Again" was originally published in 1939 by songwriter Ruth Lowe. Though the tune has been recorded countless times, the most popular by far is the version by Frank Sinatra and The Pied Pipers in 1940, featuring Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra. The song, though melancholic and laid back, has cemented it's place in American culture, even being inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1982. We hope you enjoy the Jazz Ambassadors' take on this popular tune!
