Lynne Holden, M.D., the senior associate dean for diversity and inclusion at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, provides an overview of the robust ways in which Einstein supports diverse students throughout their medical school journey. Dr. Holden touches on Einstein’s multiple layers of mentorship, strong sense of community, and the Real Talk initiative that allows prospective students to connect directly with current students. She also shares how Einstein’s commitment to social justice is one of the reasons why she has chosen to be part of this community for more than 30 years. Dr. Holden is also a professor of emergency at Einstein and an attending physician at Montefiore Health System.
