One of my favourite pastimes in London is visiting my favourite department stores. I treat them a bit like art galleries. Even if I’m not spending money. I just gain comfort from walking through them. So this was a very sad day for me... the end of an era for one of the capital’s top stores. Did you frequent it? Can’t wait to read your comments.
