Hey folks, so in this Lincoln Town Car video I walk you through some diagnosis and replacement of the DDM - or driver door module in my 2007 Town Car Signature Limited.

The DDM which is located in the drivers door behind the interior door panel, if it fails it can cause all kinds of weird electrical gremlins. Things stop working such as the power door locks, power mirrors, power seats, keyless entry, seat memory buttons, power trunk release, interior courtesy lights illumination, etc. And, these issues may be intermittent.

I discovered some things you need to know if you have weird electrical problems and track it down to the DDM in your car. This also applies to Ford Crown Vic (Victoria) and Mercury Grand Marquis owners.

If you are having electrical gremlins in your car, it's a good idea to first check all fuses & relays associated with the system, and then visually inspect the wires, then check for power and ground at appropriate places.
