Despite the initial disregard, hip hop is one of the most prevalent music genres in the nation, and in the world, today. Rappers and their work have greatly influenced modern American culture, fashion, and music -- which is why the loss of a beloved hip hop artist can hit fans very hard.

Unfortunately, over the years we’ve lost many legendary artists and rising stars whose music inspired many, and the death of a rapper in 2020 is no different. Their songs and various works, however, give fans something to remember them by.
