I purchased a direct drive kit from Printermods. While the machining of the X carriage bracket is nice, the bracket STL file for mounting the grey Creality metal extruder didn’t fit.

The wiring sent was incorrect (it was 4 pin which is not compatible to extend the wiring from its original location) and the shipping was delayed by over 2 weeks even though I paid for faster expedited shipping.

It’s a decent product if you don’t mind tinkering but it was not plug and play as advertised and the delay in shipping was a bit disappointing based on the money spent.
