A man has been jailed for life after admitting murdering his ex-partner in Salford.

Perseverance Ncube, 35, was stabbed to death by Obert Moyo on November 10 last year.

Moyo fled the scene but was arrested in Bolton that same day.

The court heard how the victim had recently ended her relationship with Moyo.

But the 46-year-old could not accept the split and stalked Ms Ncube.

Moyo, of Pennington Road, Bolton, has now been jailed after pleading guilty ahead of a trial.

He was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 27 years.
