The Tesla App is an essential download if you have bought a Tesla Model 3. Thats because it adds loads of functionality to your Model 3 or other Tesla Models.

Although the Tesla app does lack some features other 3rd party apps offer you, it is the native software that Tesla use to control your Model 3. This tutorial on how to use the Tesla App walks you through all the functions and features the Tesla app offers you.

Its best to download the Tesla app before you go to pick up your Model 3, so they can help set up things like the phone key, but don't expect any functionality, as this gets activated when you are at the Tesla Service centre.
