This quick video shows how to use a less-than-perfect T-Pose from a motion capture session as the source pose for retargeting a performance to a character. Ideally, the motion capture session would have been more closely supervised to ensure that markers and range of motion calibrations were done accurately resulting in accurate data representation of the live performance, but in this sample capture, the data doesn't accurately represent the starting position of the performer. By using the captured data as the source starting point for retargeting, the resulting CG character performance can more closely mimic the original performance.
