FINALLY made it to the Golden Grain Bakery in Melfort!!!
 
Famous for their bismarks (an apple & raspberry jam-filled donut topped with icing), big foots, long johns, cinnamon buns, and more, this community hub has been serving up mouthwatering treats for decades.
 
Owners (and wonderful people) Don and Pat Neher, took the reins in 2006 and continue to mix, knead, proof, bake and glaze many of the long-standing favourites that have been passed down from previous owners.
 
Although it’s well known for its doughnuts, Golden Grain also offers super tasty grab-and-go sub sandwiches served on their freshly baked sub buns.
