We were thrilled to welcome director Joanna Arnow, cast members Alysia Reiner, Parish Bradley, and Peter Vack, and producers Graham Swon, and Pierce Varous to NYFF61 to discuss their film, The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed, in a conversation moderated by NYFF Currents Programmer Tyler Wilson.

In her unsparing, acerbically funny feature debut, Joanna Arnow stars as an emotionally detached young Brooklynite drifting through unremarkable days and nights, which include an on-again-off-again BDSM relationship with a mildly disinterested older dom. Arnow finds a core of poignant truth about the ways people search for those elusive, ever-shifting things like emotional happiness and sexual gratification.
