Experience a 285 mile electric vehicle road trip from Los Angeles, California to Las Vegas, Nevada in a 2022 Tesla Model RWD on a cold spring morning.

The cold weather definitely affected the road trip in the beginning and what affected range even more was extremely hilly terrain between LA and Vegas.

Overall efficiency was 244 Wh/mi over 285 miles which is fairly good on a trip that required two supercharging stops in Barstow, California and Primm, Nevada.

The entire road trip took about 5 hours, including charging stops and gives a fair example of real world range between Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.
