Supergirl has a super pet, the super cat Streaky. Just how did the girl of steel, the maid of might, come into contact with this super powered kitty. DC Comics introduced Streaky during the silver age. While Superboy would and eventually superman would have Krypto the Super Dog, his cousin would get a cat. Back in the silver age when Linda Lee (not yet Danvers) was still in the orphanage she stumbled upon a stray cat. Not just that but she gave it super powers by experimenting with Kryptonite.
