I took Nala out for our first backpacking trip of the year. We hiked up a closed forest road up past Silver Lake Flat in American Fork Canyon, UT. We had a record snowfall year in Utah so there was still tons of snow on the ground as we got higher in elevation. Afternoon storms made for interesting weather. Plenty of stomps to celebrate our first trek of the season.
