Adele has been keeping a low profile since canceling some of her Las Vegas residency tour dates on doctors' orders. However, she made a rare appearance at music producer Lenny Santiago's birthday party in Malibu on April 21st. Adele announced the rescheduled Weekends with Adele show dates on her Instagram account on April 2nd, revealing that the rescheduled March dates have moved to October and November. Ticket holders for the postponed dates will be sent an email regarding their new allocated date.

Adele had to pause her Vegas residency due to illness and had to rest thoroughly. The remaining five weekends of the leg are being postponed to a later date. Many fans flooded the comments section with sympathy and well-wishes when she first posted the statement. However, some fans who had tickets for the postponed shows were asking for information about the rescheduled dates over a month later, as they hadn't heard anything from the Oscar-winner, the venue, or Ticketmaster. Some fans were upset that they hadn't been offered a refund as the show was still going ahead, albeit at a later date.

Fans demanded updates and answers on social media, as they were furious that Adele had canceled the shows and left them out of pocket, as they had booked flights and accommodation and were not entitled to a refund from the airlines and hotels.
