$AAP I bought Leaps in Advance Auto Parts today- Another Market Anomaly I am bullish on.
-Livermore accumulation cylinder, it dropped below this today. Has a lot of gaps to fill.
-Recession resistant.
-Record default on auto loans today highest since 2006 meaning used car repair will be a priority.
-Low float moves on small vol.
-In 2005 it had a bigger valuation & now makes 3x the Rev $11.09B a year.
-Currently $4 billion dollar market cap.
-Has -51 million less shares now vs 2005. -Management just bought $1,160,000+ worth of shares in the market.
-Q1 Er lumpy-LIFO-Switch to GAAP reporting.
- Sold off because of the massive Div cut- But management is going to use it to boost ROE. Q2 was all selling from dividend funds.
- Had 98% of the float owned by institutions last year now 88%, 3.4% of the float was sold off by dividend funds.
-Expand and take advantage of the Pro business. Big catalysts/New CEO is coming.
-Earnings Wednesday.
