In this video we show you how to tie up a boat at the dock. We explain where to position your boat at the dock along the pilings, then show the exact configuration you should use with the lines.

This video is BASED on Florida tides, when you're going to be docked for long periods of time. Not for a quick stop at a restaurant or while at a fuel dock.

Always remember to use 4 lines! A bow line, a stern line, and 2 spring lines. Always tie LONG tight lines, SHORT lines SINK boats!! You can have a tight line as long as its long, so it goes up and down with the tides.
