On Monday we saw Tangmere bring the GB XVI into Carlisle where it was taken over for the Scottish part of its nine-day tour by a pair of Black Fives.

Today we see the process reversed. I attempted to film the train high up in the Scottish Southern Uplands but the weather was against me, so I headed to Lockerbie where the train stopped to water the locomotives, and then went to Carlisle for the change of traction.
