The EFF Podcast reflects on Mama Beka Ntsan’wisi contribution to society as a community builder, a philanthropist and motivational speaker. She is the founder of the Grannies Soccer Team Vakhegula Vakhegula. Mama Beka is also a former radio presenter at Munghana Lonene FM. Former President Thabo Mbeki honoured her with the Order of the Baobab in bronze for her sterling work in uplifting the lives of communities in rural villages. In March 2023 Mama Beka hosted the first Grannies International Football Tournament (GIFT) in Nkowankowa and now her plan is to host GIFT 2025 in a bid to empower women as well as keeping grannies fit and healthy.
