Hey Guys,


Went back out to the mountain to fly the latest long range build using the Crossfire MIcro TX V2 and lithium ion 4000mah DIY battery. Also suprisingly used a cheapo $72 Akaso V50x 4k Camera that did a great job flying so high with just a bit of jello that can be eliminated with ND filters.
I almost got to 2 miles, and feel like I could have gone 3 if not for losing line of site between the mountains and the quadcopter.. I may fly at the other side of the freeway next time to prove that theory.


One key note to do is always fly long range with GPS Failsafe and check the Failsafe switch before each flight. This has saved my neck today and many every time that I have flown long range, as any micro failsafe can bring your quadcopter down. GPS rescue will save you quadcopter every time.
