Helringengaldr? Solkrigsvegen? Anyway, here's a mash-up / medley of Helvegen and Krigsgaldr, originally by Wardruna and Heilung respectively, with a touch of Solringen (also Wardruna) on top. This is my first actual video in three years, feels pretty exciting to be back! In this time I went from an amateur cover artist trying to learn music, to a professional composer & producer and now I feel like juggling both, simply because I enjoy doing it. Honestly, I didn't expect this channel to still gain traffic in the form of comments and views pretty much daily after all this time. So thanks to everyone who stuck around, I hope you dig this!

This medley started with the passing of my dear grandmother last year which was a rough period. Through a good friend of mine, I got introduced to Wardruna's Helvegen and its themes of mourning, death and the afterlife really spoke to me on a deeper level. As I discovered more similar tunes, I felt strongly that I wanted to arrange my own rendition. After discussing it with Emily, whose grandpa passed a few years earlier, we decided to finish it together, sort of as an homage to those who have moved on from this life.
