Voodoo wrestling, or Catch Fétiche is a popular sport in The Democratic Republic of Congo.
It's like the WWE meets Harry Potter, you wrestle each other in a ring with magic spells.
Voodoo is actually a West African term, here it is called Bokoko, and is very similar. It taps into the ancient energy of your ancestors, and often fetishes like skulls and desiccated animals are used in the rituals.

Catch Fétiche was born when traditional beliefs were fused into Catch Congolais, an American-Wrestling inspired sport adapted to Congo. But when Bokoko became involved, it evolved into something completely different. Enjoy this one! It's a trip. (Bonus points if you spotted Ekeko from the Sapeur video)

The final battle was wayyyy too graphic for YouTube... and while the death of "Zombie" was fake, the guts she ate were very real. Believe me... I was so close I could smell them.
