Hopton Wafers Primary School will close in a weeks time at the end of the summer term for the last time. Sadly this beautiful little village school, which has been the heart of the village and local community fo 140 years will open its doors to a new Autumn term no more. But the school goes with its head held high and not with a whimper but with a celebratory bang. The last summer fete will be long remembered. In this wet grey summer the sun briefly appeared and all who came, ex pupils, parents and all who had fond memories of the school were treated to a splendid day with a pig roast, brass band, falconry display and some great cakes. Thanks to all who helped out and special thanks to Sean who has given her last students a wonderful year that will stay with them for ever. Thanks
