Five years ago this week, I bought my first electrified vehicle. I bought a Smart Electric Drive. I didn’t realize it at the time but I made some good choices in the type of charger I bought and the location where I installed here. In this video, I shared some of the things I learned to hopefully help others with your charger choices.

By the way, what we call chargers are actually called Electric Vehicle Service Equipment or EVSE. But I use the term charger in this video to make it easy.

Keep in mind, I’m not necessarily endorsing a particular brand of EVSE. It’s more the style and having a way to manage the cable.
