Full throttle Autobahn acceleration test with the all-new 2015/2016 Audi Q7 powered by the range-topping 3.0 TFSI delivering 333 hp and 440 Nm of torque through the well-known 8-speed Tiptronic. While I first thought that the gasoline V6 TFSI wouldn't be such a great choice for a huge SUV the performance and fuel economy proofs that I was wrong. Despite the lack of torque (on paper) compared to the 3.0 TDI (272 hp, 600 Nm) the supercharger gets the car moving very quickly and once you hit the higher revs there is an additional "spirit" of the engine that the Diesel doesn't have. Also the fuel consumption is very fair compared to power and weight, 10,8 liters of "Super" overall including all filming and high speed on Autobahn are very very good. Compared to the earlier 3.0 TFSIs they have really improved this engine!
